THE FOUNDER
Hello, my name is Alexina Pocholle, I am 26 years old and I am the founder of Double A Paris. It all started during my last semester of studies at business school at the end of 2020, I noticed that when you have small breasts, it is almost impossible to find sexy, well-cut and quality lingerie. I am a 90AA so I was the first to be able to testify! Years of wearing bras that were too big , with folds and that gaped. Years of taking no pleasure in buying lingerie and feeling that my body did not correspond to the standards. How can I accept yourself if your size is not even present in lingerie stores?
That's when I had the idea to create a lingerie brand designed for AA, A and B cups: Double A Paris was born . After more than a year of development, the brand was launched for pre-order on Ulule in March 2022. And since June 2022, you can order on the e-shop and finally find lingerie made for small breasts!
THE COMMITMENT
Because of a size system that has not been reviewed for over a hundred years, thousands of women cannot find bras that fit our small cups. This feeling of exclusion from this product that represents femininity does not help to accept one's body, can develop complexes and even lead to resorting to cosmetic surgery.
First of all, I created Double A Paris so that we too, women with small breasts, finally have the choice to wear lingerie that enhances us. By offering sexy, feminine and well-cut lingerie, I hope to be able to help women love their small cups. All breasts are beautiful and obviously small breasts also have the right to beautiful lingerie!
THE WORKSHOP
It was important to me to find a workshop in Europe with good working conditions. After a long search, we found a manufacturing workshop in the city of Porto in Portugal . It has been recognized for its know-how and expertise in lingerie for over 20 years. 50 seamstresses work there, some of whom have been working there since the workshop was created. They are paid above the legal minimum and work from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Our workshop has also placed eco-responsibility at the heart of its expertise, they work with suppliers of quality fabrics, some of which are recycled and all from Europe. Since the first collection, Double A Paris has worked hand in hand with this workshop and I am proud of this collaboration which is not about to stop.
